Listening Machines

I was delighted to design the identity and website for Kati London and Kate Crawford's Listening Machines: a one-day summit "to address the new era of consumer listening devices." The summit was supported by The New York Times Research & Development group and Microsoft Research. The design echoes the event theme: listening machines of the past were bulky, cumbersome, and built to assist us; listen machines of the present are tiny, subtle, and built to observe to us.
